Where does power flow from? In nature, who says who has the right to rule? There has always been a great divide between those who believe it comes from a physical strength or a spiritual or moral authority. In the world in which we now live materialism rules the day. The man who has the most money, consumes the most resources is woshipped and given authority to rule. You see this in Politics and Hollywood in the West. We believe that the most happy and most important people are the ones with the most money. They are awed at, adored, voted into office and proped up as being greater than those who have less. But this is not how nature works and i shall explain now why the meek and humble shall inherit the earth. And simply put, its because those who have everything, have nothing. And those with nothing have everything.
Millions and billion of dollars are spent in search of internal happiness. It is the driving cause for most people. When you buy something new it eventually loses that good feeling that it originally gave you. Much like a drug it feels good but leaves you wanting for more. And that is because it is of the material world and by its nature is corruptible. Virtues like humility and honesty, kindness and love, these are indestructible and are of the world of the spirit. For when you die these gifts go with you. And even more than That they are returned 10 fold in the next life. That is Why The poor man, though it seems he has lost all, has gained EVERYTHING! The man with the happiness wins in the end. Not the man who has the most stuff. That is truly the secret of life. A man with nothing gets to keep that which is eternal that he has gained through suffering and loss. The man who has Only his physical wealth has nothing in the realm of eternity and therefore never had anything at all to begin with. The matieral world is simply an illusion.
